2. Scope
These terms and conditions apply to all services, activities, events, and partnerships organized by Bornia NextGen VZW, unless otherwise explicitly agreed in writing.
By registering for or participating in our activities, or by using our services, the participant or partner agrees to these terms.
3. Mission and Services
Bornia NextGen VZW is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting young people (from age 15) and adults through three key pillars:
Personal development
Professional integration
Digital skills development
Sports are used as a tool to build self-confidence and promote social inclusion.
4. Registration and Participation
Registration for workshops, internships, training sessions, or sports activities can be done via our website, by email, or in person.
Registration is only considered final after confirmation by Bornia NextGen VZW.
Some activities may have specific eligibility criteria (e.g., age, intake session, motivation check, etc.).
5. Payments
For paid activities, an invoice or payment request will be sent in advance.
Payment must be made within 7 calendar days, unless otherwise specified.
Failure to pay may result in cancellation of registration.
For free activities, we still expect commitment and notification in case of absence.
6. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations by participants must be submitted in writing.
Up to 5 business days before the start of the activity: a full refund is possible.
Less than 5 business days: no refund, unless in cases of force majeure (e.g., illness, family emergency, etc.).
Bornia NextGen VZW reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any activity. In such cases, paid amounts will be refunded or transferred to a new date in consultation with the participant.
7. Liability
Participation in sports or outdoor activities is at the participant’s own risk.
Bornia NextGen VZW cannot be held liable for loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings.
For minors, written permission from a parent or guardian is required.
8. Code of Conduct and Respect
All participants are expected to behave respectfully towards other participants, facilitators, and partners.
Any discriminatory, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
Bornia NextGen VZW reserves the right to refuse or exclude participants who violate the code of conduct, without refund.
9. Use of Visual Material
Photos or videos may be taken during our activities for promotional purposes.
If you do not wish to appear in any photos or videos, please inform us in writing at the time of registration.
10. Collaboration and Partnerships
Partnerships are formalized through written agreements.
All parties commit to upholding Bornia NextGen’s core values: inclusion, respect, empowerment, and collaboration.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
We comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Personal data is used only for internal purposes such as communication, planning, and impact reporting, and is never shared with third parties without consent.

12. Applicable Law and Disputes
These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law.
We always aim to resolve disputes amicably.
If necessary, disputes will be handled exclusively by the competent courts of Oudenaarde.
13. Modifications
Bornia NextGen VZW reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
